A NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART PLANT PLANNED FOR HAMILTON WILL PRODUCE THERMALLY EFFICIENT CLADDING AND ROOFING - PANELS AND BOARDS.

Metecno’s new plant will produce insulated sandwich panels and insulation boards for the residential and commercial construction sectors. The facility will include a state-of-the-art continuous production line made by ISC Italy, which will use locally sourced steel from New Zealand Steel. The insulating material options will be PIR (polyisocyanurate) or mineral wool.

The expansion of Metecno Group into New Zealand demonstrates the group’s commitment to local manufacture, reducing the carbon footprint of key construction products and supporting the local economy. With the increasing demand for green and energy-efficient buildings, investing in the local manufacture of thermally efficient cladding and roofing solutions will allow Metecno Group to provide products that can assist in reducing energy demands of New Zealand buildings.
